About the Group:
In the wake of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, we understand that the road to recovery involves more than rebuilding homes and businesses—it also means rebuilding a sense of stability and emotional well-being. Guardian Recovery is proud to offer a free, weekly virtual support group to provide a safe, supportive space for those impacted by these events.

Facilitator: Ryan Soave, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma

During our sessions, Ryan will guide participants through open conversations, offering professional insights, practical resources, and an understanding space where all experiences are welcome. Whether you’re coping with the immediate aftermath, dealing with loss, or seeking ways to rebuild, we invite you to connect with others who understand.

To attend, please fill out the registration form below. You’ll receive a link to join the group upon completing a brief waiver. Registration is essential to maintain a confidential and secure environment for everyone.

Acknowledgment and Waiver of Liability Support Group Participation Agreement
This Acknowledgment and Waiver of Liability (the “Agreement”) is entered into by and between the undersigned participant (the “Participant”) and Guardian Recovery (the “Organization”) for participation in the Peer Support Group (the “Group”).
- Purpose of the Group:
The Group is designed as a support network where peers come together to share experiences, provide mutual support, and foster a community of understanding. The Group is not a substitute for professional therapy or medical treatment. - Acknowledgment of Nature of Support:
By signing this Agreement, the Participant acknowledges that the Group operates on the principle of peers supporting peers. The Organization does not employ licensed therapists or mental health professionals, and the discussions within the Group are based on personal experiences and shared perspectives. - Assumption of Risk:
The Participant understands that participation in the Group may involve discussing personal experiences and emotions that could evoke strong feelings. The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with their participation in the Group, including any psychological or emotional distress that may arise. - Waiver of Liability:
The Participant agrees that Guardian Recovery, its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents are not liable for any claims, demands, injuries, or damages arising from the Participant’s involvement in the Group, whether caused by the negligence of the Organization or otherwise. - Confidentiality:
The Participant agrees to respect the confidentiality of all Group members and will not disclose any personal information shared during the Group sessions outside of the Group setting. - Consent to Participate:
By signing below, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement. The Participant voluntarily consents to participate in the Group and waives any right to pursue claims against Guardian Recovery in connection with their participation.
