Substance use disorder and mental health facilities in Florida are regulated by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) through the Substance Abuse Program Office. New Jersey
The New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) oversees substance use and mental health treatment facilities. Florida
To file a complaint about a substance abuse or mental health facility in Florida, contact the DCF Abuse Hotline at 1-800-96-ABUSE (1-800-962-2873). You can also file a complaint online through the DCF complaint portal at https://www.myflfamilies.com/service-programs/abuse-hotline/ or mail written complaints to: Florida DCF, 1317 Winewood Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32399. New Jersey
File complaints with the DMHAS Complaint and Incident Reporting System by calling (609) 777-0702 or emailing [email protected]. The Division investigates all complaints regarding licensed facilities and takes appropriate action based on findings.
